ITI Full Form – आईटीआई फुल फॉर्म

ITI Full Form

The Full form of ITI is Industrial Training Institute. ITI’s provide vocational education to students in India after their high school education. These institutes come under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. They are governed by the Directorate-General for Employment and Training (DGET).

There are are a range of vocational training programmes available at ITIs across India. The main goal of an ITI is to offer specialised education that equips students with the skills they need to enter the workforce in different technical fields. After finishing their training at an ITI, students have the opportunity to take the All India Trade Test (AITT). Once candidates have successfully completed the programme, they will receive the National Trade Certificate (NTC) as recognition of their skills and knowledge.

ITI full form in Hindi – आईटीआई का हिंदी अर्थ

The full form of ITI in Hindi is “औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान,” which translates to “Industrial Training Institute” in English. ITI कोर्स खास उन लोगों के लिए डिजाइन किया गया है जो जल्दी नौकरी करना चाहते हैं.

If you get admission in a government college, then you will not have to pay any fees, but if you want to do it in a private college, then the fees will be as per the college.

Duration of Courses

ITI courses typically range from six months to two years, depending on the trade and complexity of skills taught. They are known for their practical approach to skill development and are highly valued in various industries for job readiness.

Eligibility Criteria for ITI

  • The candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
  • Must have at least 35 percent marks in 10th.
  • Candidate’s age should be 14 to 40 years.
  • In some trades of ITI, only 8th pass students can also apply.

You can apply for ITI when you have passed 8th or 10th class. ITI forms come every year in July. You can apply for ITI by visiting the official website of ITI. Apart from this, you can also apply for ITI by visiting any ITI college near you.
